to Divine Mercy's Teen Confirmation! The Sacrament of Confirmation is your opportunity to seal the gifts you have already received through Baptism. In the same way the Disciples went out after Pentecost to start the church we are in today, in receiving Confirmation you will be given the gifts to be able to go out and set the world on fire. We can't wait to journey with you!

Requirements for Teen Confirmation
Confirmation for high school students is celebrated once a year at Divine Mercy Parish by a Bishop. Teens who are in their junior or senior year in high school are eligible to prepare for this Sacrament.
Registration will open on Monday August 4. 2025 with classes starting in January. Last day of registration Sunday October 12, 2025.
Preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation is handled in the church parish not by the Catholic School. Please note that all children in 1st through 10th grade should attend Religious Education classes either in the church parish or in a Catholic school. The archdiocese recognizes no other programs or schools for preparing your child's Religious Faith formation.
Teens who wish to participate must:- be baptized validly in the Roman Catholic Church (Baptismal Certificate required)
- have received their first Holy Communion (1st Communion Certificate required)
- regularly attends Mass on Sundays
- have faith in Jesus Christ and desire to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation
- be a Junior in High School with two previous years of catechesis/formation
- fully participate in the Confirmation Preparation Program
