Get an odd email or text from someone claiming to be Fr. Luis, Fr. Francis, or someone else from the church who *needs* an expensive gift card or money from CashAPP? 

That's a scammer.

It's happening all across the country as scammers try even sneakier ways to trick you... including claiming to be a priest. Don’t Be fooled. Always ignore these email requests or you may choose to call the parish office BEFORE chatting with the email sender to check the validity of a request.
