Reading from Sacred Scripture: Luke 19:1-10
R: At that time, Jesus came to Jericho and intended to pass through the town. Now a man there named Zacchaeus, who was a chief tax collector and also a wealthy man, was seeking to see who Jesus was; but he could not see him because of the crowd, for he was short in stature. So he ran ahead and climbed a sycamore tree in order to see Jesus, who was about to pass that way. When he reached the place, Jesus looked up and said, "Zacchaeus, come down quickly, for today I must stay at your house." And he came down quickly and received him with joy. When they all saw this, they began to grumble, saying, "He has gone to stay at the house of a sinner." But Zacchaeus stood there and said to the Lord, "Behold, half of my possessions, Lord, I shall give to the poor, and if I have extorted anything from anyone I shall repay it four times over." And Jesus said to him, "Today salvation has come to this house because this man too is a descendant of Abraham. For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save what was lost."
Act of Enthronement of the Sacred Heart
Reverently place the image in its chosen place. This act signifies giving Christ a place of honor as King of your home.
All: “We/I now Enthrone the Lord Jesus as our/my personal King and Friend.”
All: I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of Heaven and Earth; and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, Our Lord; Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried. He descended into Hell; the third day He rose again from the dead. He ascended into Heaven, and sits at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the Communion of Saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body and life everlasting. Amen.
Multiperson Households
All: O Most Sacred Heart, we consecrate ourselves and our home to You. It is our desire to make a covenant of love with you. From now on, we are determined to live your life: a life of virtue and simplicity. It is our desire to keep far from us the spirit of the world which you have condemned. You will rule over our minds by the sincerity of our faith. You will rule over our hearts by our ardent love for you alone, and we will keep this fire of love ever burning in our hearts by frequent participation in the Celebration of the Eucharist and regular reading of Sacred Heart. Please Divine Heart, guide and bless our every undertaking, both spiritual and temporal, ward off all dangers, sanctify our joys and lighten our sufferings. If we should have the misfortune of displeasing you, remind us quickly, O Sacred Heart, that you are full of goodness and mercy towards the repentant sinner. Glory to the Heart of Jesus, our personal King and Friend!

Our Father…
All: Most Holy Virgin Mary, tender Mother of men, to fulfill the desires of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the request of the Vicar of your Son on earth, we consecrate ourselves and our families to your Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart, O Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, and we recommend to you, all the people of our country and all the world. Please accept our Consecration, dearest Mother, and use us as you wish to accomplish your designs in the world. O Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, and Queen of the World, rule over us, together with the Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ, Our King. Save us from the spreading flood of modern paganism; kindle in our hearts and homes the love of purity, the practice of a virtuous life, an ardent zeal for souls, and a desire to pray the Rosary more faithfully.
We come with confidence to you, O Throne of Grace and Mother of Fair Love. Inflame us with the same Divine Fire which has inflamed your own Sorrowful and
Immaculate Heart. Make our hearts and homes your shrine, and through us, make the Heart of Jesus, together with your rule, triumph in every heart and home. Amen.
(Venerable Pope Pius XII)
Hail Holy Queen
All: Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, our life, our sweetness, and our hope! To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve; to thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn then, most gracious advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us, and after this our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary.
Leader: Pray for us, O holy Mother of God,
All: That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
Leader: Most Sacred Heart of Jesus,
All: Have mercy on us.
Leader: Immaculate Heart of Mary,
All: Pray for us
Leader: Saint Joseph,
All: Pray for us
Closing Prayer
Leader: O Father of mercies and God of all consolation, Who by the exceeding love with which You have loved us, have given us the Heart of Your beloved Son so that having but one heart with Him, we may love You perfectly, grant, we beseech You, that our hearts, being consumed in unity with the Heart of Jesus and with one another, may perform all our works in accord with His humility and charity and that, by His mediation, the just desires of our hearts may be accomplished, through the same Christ Our Lord.
All: Amen. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
