Experience the healing power of Reconciliation before Easter. Last opportunities for extended confessions with both priests will be Saturday March 28 (2:30-3:45 pm), Tuesday March 31 (4:30-6:00 pm), and Wednesday April 1 (4:30-6:00 pm).

Our parish wishes to congratulate Mrs. Joan Kathmann and Mr. Louis & Mrs. Jane Villarrubia, the recipients of the 2026 Order of St. Louis IX Medallion, for their outstanding service and commitment to Divine Mercy Catholic Church, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton School, and to the local Church in the Archdiocese of New Orleans. This award recognizes the lay faithful who, by their loving service to the Church in and of New Orleans, continue to spread the Good News of the Gospel to all whom they encounter. Congratulations to all of you on this most deserved honor and recognition!

The exquisite Easter flowers that grace our altar and sanctuary play a significant role in the Easter celebration at Divine Mercy Parish. We encourage all parishioners to participate in this meaningful experience through a memorial or thanksgiving gift. Contributions towards the cost of Easter flowers may be made in memory or honor of your family members and friends. This gesture serves as a beautiful way to remember loved ones, honor friends, and express gratitude to God for answered prayers and blessings received. Donations can be submitted in the collection using any envelope, clearly marked as 'Easter Flowers' or by clicking here.

This gala will help raise much-needed funds for the vital pregnancy support care provided free of charge by Catholic Charities’ Pregnancy Services to more than 600 abortion-vulnerable women and countless families each year. Click for details.

We will be honoring couples who will be celebrating 25 and 50 years of Sacramental Marriage in the Church anytime during the 2026 calendar year on Saturday, June 20th at the 4pm Mass. Couples MUST complete the form below to be included in the Parish's special Silver and Gold Anniversary Celebration found at divinemercyparish.org/marriage-day or can be completed by calling the parish office. The deadline to complete this form is April 10th.

On Thursday, March 5th the Substance Addiction Ministry (SAM) at St. Angela Merici Catholic Church will be hosting a Community Forum and Resource Fair on Addiction. This event if for those who suffer from an addiction, as well as for the affected family members, giving everyone an opportunity to hear a doctor of addiction medicine educate us about this disease, how it affects the brain, how it is treated, and the effect it has on the whole family, and what we can do to begin recovery. New Year, New You! Whether you're looking to foster new or deeper friendships, strengthen your prayer life, grow closer to Jesus, or even take a getaway, it's time to mark your calendar for our 2026 ACTS Retreats! Men’s ACTS Retreat: August 6-9 • Women’s ACTS Retreat: September 10-13

Due to electrical issues in the PCC, our Elements of the Catholic Mass series will begin on Tue Jan 27 (not 20th). The registration online will be extended until Monday, Jan 26. Note: The Spanish sessions will begin on Jan 20 (next week) since the sessions are going to take place in room 206 at SEAS.

A Little bit of Heaven is coming to Kenner! All four beautiful hand-carved Italian statues have been ordered and we can’t wait to see Mary, St. Joseph, St. Pope John Paul II, and St. Faustina adorn our altar space in the coming months. Thanks to the generosity of many of our parishioners, we were able to raise $70k for this project during iGiveCatholic this past November/December. We still have $30k left to cover the cost of the fourth statue. Please consider donating by clicking here to help cover the cost of this beautification project that will not only elevate our worship space but help all present to visualize the Heavenly reality of the Holy Mass.

The Knights of Columbus Color Guard is coming to Divine Mercy on Saturday, December 6 at the 4pm Mass. If you haven’t seen our Color Guard in person, it is a sight to behold! The KOC Louisiana State Deputy Bobby Charpentier, the Louisiana State Family, and the 4th Degree Color Guard will be in attendance.

Are you looking to sprinkle some generosity and gratitude into your Christmas list this year? Bring the joy of Christmas to a child in need by picking out gifts from their wish list! Angels will be ready for you the weekend of November 29th and 30th at the special tree in the Narthex. Don’t forget to return your gifts to the Angel Tree with the tag attached by Sunday, December 14th!
